Unlike most of Stone’s Enjoy By series, I actually waited for the date signified on the bottle to sample the beer. The reason for that is more along the date and my inner geek than being a lazy oaf. For those of you who live under a rock, 3/14/15 was a unique Pi Day that actually only happens once a century. Since I won’t be alive for the next one, I figured that I should celebrate this with Stone and my inner geek.
So now with that out of the way, on to the review of the beer itself. When poured into a glass, the beer was pretty cloudy, but a really nice golden. The aroma initially noticed was a pungent mix of citrus and pine. On the first sip, the beer finished with a mix of pineapple and apricot. As I let the beer warm, it not only started to clear up some, but also had a lot of flavors come out and play.
