I have honestly been searching for the sour beer that I tasted in the Jack’s Abby tap room for a while now. I bought a bottle, but can’t find the name in my Untapped – not very happy about that. On a recent trip to Gordon’s Liquors in Waltham, I talked to their craft beer dude and he told me that this was the beer I was looking for. Unfortunately he was wrong.

The Berliner Style Lager is not a bad beer at all, just not as sour as I would have liked. For a Berliner, it is what it is and is in-line with many that I have had. It would be better drank in the summer than say 19 degrees outside in January. I could see this entering summer rotation with Founder’s All-Day for mowing the lawn. You could seriously drink this warm or cold and be satisfied and refreshed.
